Exiled Iranian film director Dr. Mahmoud Karimi-Hakak has expressed his view that if the unrest in Iran continues, the regime will be changed by the end of the year.
Dr. Karimi-Hakak, who fled the country after he was accused of putting on a Shakespeare play without a permit, said during a conference at Haifa University that the west needs to strengthen opposition forces indirectly, and Israel must not intervene. "An Israeli attack will unite the Iranian people," he warned. (Ahiya Raved)
