East J'lem: 18 police wounded in riots in area
Some 18 police officers have been lightly wounded thus far in clashes that broke out in east Jerusalem. Some 20 young adults from the east of the city are throwing stones at the security forces in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem's Old City.
In the neighborhood Ras al-Amud, some 20 people are throwing stones at police and Border Guard officers. In addition, a few dozen young adults are throwing rocks at police officers at the entrance to the village of Isawiya. Three suspects have thus far been apprehended. (Efrat Weiss)
