Abdullah Barghouti: Netanyahu doesn't want to execute Shalit deal

Abdullah Barghouti, whose name has been mentioned as one of the Hamas officials currently imprisoned in Israel who may be released as part of a prisoner exchange deal for captive soldier Gilad Shalit, said, "There is no way that the deal will be executed soon, because (Israeli Prime Minister) Netanyahu doesn't want to execute the deal. He is busy with many other things."

During a hearing in his matter at the Nazareth District Court Barghouti added that if he is released, he will continue fighting the occupation. "I am a fighter. This is my land, I do not seek any other land in New York or Hawaii," he added. (Sharon Roffe – Ofir)
