Jewish Agency reps recruited to Israel's PR efforts after flotilla raid
Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky instructed some 500 Agency representatives serving in Jewish communities around the world to join the struggle to explain Israel's actions in the flotilla affair.
Explanatory material, prepared by official information sources, has been distributed to the representatives and to heads of Jewish organizations, including student groups, youth movements, Zionist federations and pro-Israel NGOs. "I have no doubt that the responsibility for what happened is on the shoulders of the flotilla organizers and participants," Sharansky said. (Yael Branovsky)
