The Arab League chief said all should be aware of Israel's continuing "atrocity and assault" in violation of human rights and international law following the IDF raid on an aid flotilla bound for Gaza.
Speaking at an economic forum between Turkey and Arab nations, Amr Moussa added that "Israel is the main reason for the black hole in the region."
He said Thursday that he appreciated Turkey's challenging Israel, and expressed condolences for the killing of nine people during an Israeli raid on a Turkish aid ship destined for Gaza last week. Moussa said the victims "are our martyrs as well."
Also present at the forum was Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, who said Turkey aims to create
a free trade zone without visa restrictions with Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.
"We want a vehicle to leave from Turkey and reach Morocco without stopping at any border gates," said Davutoglu. "Within this framework, we will announce in the afternoon a declaration to form a free trade zone among Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon.
