Fayyad promotes boycott campaign of settlement goods
Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad visited a supermarket in the West Bank city of Ramallah, as part of a campaign to boycott good produced in Israeli settlements.
After examining the merchandise, Fayyad gave the store owner a certificate that confirms the business does not sell banned products. "It is just another step toward cleaning the Palestinian Authority of settlement products," said Fayyad, who handed out campaign hats and t-shirts to activists. (AFP)
