8 haredim to remain in detention for Barzilai construction protest
Ashkelon Magistrates' Court Judge Sabine Cohen extended the remand of the three haredim detained in Monday's protests against the construction of a new emergency room at Barzilai Hospital by one day. Five other detainees declined an offer to be released on restrictions and will remain in detention.
The police announced that they intend to file an indictment against the eight. (Shmulik Hadad)
