The European Union's foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton published a statement condemning the shooting attack that occurred near Hebron Tuesday evening, in which four Israelis were killed.
"With this unacceptable attack, the enemies of peace have tried to derail the Middle East peace talks. But we are determined not to let these enemies of peace have their way," the statement said. She also called on both sides "to engage with determination" in peace talks beginning in Washington. "It is imperative that both parties keep calm and exercise restraint," she said. (Ynet)
