Netanyahu: Peace talks' success not guaranteed

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a special Rosh Hashana greeting in which he said that "there is no guarantee that the Palestinian peace process will succeed. There are many hurdles, many skeptics and much reason for skepticism."

In a YouTube video posting of the greeting, Netanyahu said that Israel is striving for peace, but "while we try to do so in good faith, we are not naïve. We are adamant that any agreement will rely on two fundamentals: security and recognizing Israel as the Jewish people's homeland." (Attila Somfalvi)
