Riots broke out in the east Jerusalem neighborhoods of Silwan and Issawiya Friday night.
Dozens of Palestinians clashed with security forces in Silwan. The forces were stoned and used crowd control measures, including teargas and stun grenades, to disperse the riot.

A similar riot took place in Issawiya, where according to the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency an 18-month-old baby died after inhaling teargas. Still, a possibility that the infant's death was accidental – as a result of a gas leak at his home – is also being investigated.
A spokesman for the Jerusalem Police said no report of an infant's death was filed.
According to the police, east Jerusalem was quiet for most of the day, with Friday night's riots remaining on a local level.
"The Jerusalem Police remains on high alert and will continue to exercise a firm hand against rioters," said an official statement.
