FM to Kouchner, Moratinos: We won't be 2010's Czechoslovakia
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman told his French and Spanish counterparts Bernard Koucher and Miguel Moratinos that "before you come teaching us how to resolve conflicts here, I expect at the very least that you solve all the problems in Europe."
In their meeting in Jerusalem Lieberman pointed to the European appeasement of 1938 and the sacrifice of Czechoslovakia. "We have no intention of becoming 2010's Czechoslovakia and will insist on Israel's vital interests." (Ronen Medzini)
