Hamas to Britain: Keep law permitting arrest of foreign officials
Hamas criticized the British government's "intent to limit the British court's ability to prosecute Zionist war criminals who broke the international law in conquered Palestine". Hamas demanded London reconsider the decision.


This statement follows British Foreign Secretary William Hague's announcement saying Britain will change the law permitting to prosecute foreign officials accused of war crimes. Just last week, Intelligence & Atomic Energy Minister Dan Meridor canceled his visit to London, fearing arrest. (AFP)
