Police: Court approved of handling of Katsav case

Israel Police issued a statement in response to the conviction of former President Moshe Katsav of two counts of rape and other sexual assault charges, saying the court approved of the "quality of the investigation".


"Throughout the case the investigation team stuck solely to the evidence at hand and stood firm on its opinion on the factual basis, while maintaining to the utmost the rights of the interrogated party," the statement said. (Yair Altman)
