Lebanese Prime Minister designate Najib Mikati said in an interview that Hezbollah's decision to recommend him for the position "will not force me to adopt the organization's political stance, apart from defending the national resistance."
He added: "If the organizations voted for me, is it shameful? No, on the contrary. I wish the other factions would have supported me as I'd hoped." He stressed he intends to be "a candidate for everyone and for anyone". (Roee Nahmias)
