In an interview broadcast Sunday on ABC, Egypt's new Vice-President Omar Suleiman promised he will not participate in the upcoming elections. He added that he is only doing his job as requested by President Hosni Mubarak.
Suleiman said the opposition will not receive more than what has been offered to them by Mubarak, and he called the protesters to go home and return to work. Suleiman indicated that the young people of Egypt were not protesting out of their own free will, saying it was not their idea to protest. (Yitzhak Benhorin)
