PM: Iran's inclusion in Status of Women Commission 'ignorant'
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized the United Nations' decision to allow Iran to join the Commission on the Status of Women, saying "this displays ignorance. Iran continues to stone women and prevent rights from both women and men."
Netanyahu added: "Until recently Libya was a member of the commission, condemning Israel using the Goldstone Report. There was a celebration of absurdity, lying and hypocrisy, and today the true face of Libya is exposed." (Ronen Medzini)
