Attacks continue: After a relatively quiet week, a Qassam rocket was fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip Wednesday night.
No injuries or damages were reported in the attack.
The rocket landed in an open area in the Eshkol region council, prompting the Color Red alert to be activated in the region.
The last two Qassam rockets were fired from Gaza on Friday of last week, and since then Israel's southern border has been quiet. One of the two rockets landed in a Palestinian area. No injuries or damages were reported in Friday's strike.
Following Friday's attack from Gaza, the IDF struck several targets across the Strip Saturday. Eyewitnesses said that some Hamas outposts targeted by the Air Force were completely destroyed.
