1,500 social workers hold protest at Tel Aviv University

Approximately 1,500 social workers and students rallied at the entrance to Tel Aviv University, calling on the Finance Ministry to answer their demands for better wages and working conditions. The social workers have been on strike for the past 22 days.

Earlier Sunday about 2,000 social workers held a demonstration in front of the Finance Ministry headquarters in Jerusalem. (Meital Yasur-Beit Or)
