According to the network's Palestinian sources, Egypt has received assurances from Hamas that they are interested in completing the deal and so has launched a series of talks with elements within various European countries in order to proceed with the deal.
The sources added that the deal was also discussed in the days leading up to the Palestinian factions' reconciliation, and that Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal was updated on them during his visit to Cairo.
