Several Israeli diplomats arrived in Cairo to resume the Israeli Embassy's activities, Egypt's al-Ahram weekly reported on Monday.
The Israeli Embassy was shut down some 10 days ago, after a mob stormed its gates, forcing Israel to evacuate the diplomatic staff and their families.

According to al-Ahram, four diplomats – a consul, an advisor and the chief of security and his deputy – have taken office in a new building. The report did not disclose its location.
The four's arrival was preceded by a visit of several Israeli security officers, who reportedly discussed the possibility of relocating the embassy to a safer neighborhood.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed that three diplomats have joined the deputy ambassador, who remained in Egypt after the embassy riots.
Ministry sources said that while Ambassador Yitzhak Levanon will not be returning to Egypt at this time, Monday's developments were "a positive step."
