Minnelli, who will arrive in November for the Cameri Theater's debut of "Cabaret", is also slated to give two performances in the Jewish state.
The visit was initiated by the Cameri Theater's Director-General Noam Semel, who invited Minnelli to attend the musical's premiere. Producer Gad Oron suggested that she perform in Israel as well, and Minnelli's managers accepted. The final details are being finalized these days.

Minnelli, 65, is considered a Hollywood legend. As the daughter of singer and actress Judy Garland and film director Vincente Minnelli, her career was prewritten.
She began performing at an early age and rose to fame for her unforgettable appearance as Sally Bowles in the 1972 film version of the Broadway musical "Cabaret", which won her an Academy Award for Best Actress.
Minnelli's career took off and she won every possible award. Since the 1960s, she has released 12 studio albums and nine live albums.
The show's designated producer, Gad Oron, confirmed that talks were being held with Minnelli but refused to provide additional details.
Cameri Director-General Noam Semel said, "We plan to hold a gala evening during which the theater's main rehearsal hall will be named after Minnelli's father, Vincente."
