Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened Sunday's cabinet meeting by addressing the return of Gilad Shalit: Those were an extraordinary two weeks". He added: "Now we are continuing to deal energetically with the many challenges we have taken upon ourselves and are getting
back to the routine."
Netanyahu said that the government would continue to promote the Trajtenberg Committee report for a change in social and economic policy in Israel. "Two weeks ago we approved the general framework for the report and in the upcoming weeks we will make detailed decisions with regards to price reductions and cost of living," the prime minister declared.
