Palestinians: PRC commander wasn't killed in blast

The Popular Resistance Committees released a statement saying that the group's secretary-general, Zuher al-Qeisi, was not killed in a blast that took place at his Rafah-based home.

The organization said that the explosion was caused by a malfunction and was not a result of an Israeli strike. Health officials said that at least one person was killed and five others were injured in the blast. (Elior Levy)
