MK Zahava Gal-On elected Meretz chairwoman

MK Zahava Gal-On was elected as chairwoman of the Meretz Party. She won the spot with 506 votes, defeating MK Ilan Ghilon, who received 306 votes, and Ori Ophir, who got 23 votes. Some 90% of the party's central committee took part in the elections. (Moran Azulay)
