A teen robbed a Haifa bank on Wednesday, only to be apprehended hours later at his home.
The armed 16-year-old walked into a branch of the Postal Bank in the northern city's Kiryat Haim neighborhood in the afternoon with his shirt pulled over his head. He demanded money from the cashier, who placed a few thousands shekels in his bag. He grabbed the loot and fled.

Police and detectives who responded on the scene launched a manhunt for the thief. One of the officers recognized the perp in the video captured by the security camera.
The boy was still dressed in the same clothes when the cops arrived at his home to arrest him. He quickly confessed and handed over the money and the gun, which turned out to be a toy.
