The latest round of violence in the south had MKs Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List Ta'al) Yariv Levin (Likud) butting heads during a special debate at Ynet's TV studio ahead of the Janury elections.
"(Ismail) Haniyeh needs to be eliminated," Levin said. Asked whether the Hamas prime minister in Gaza should be taken out, Levin said, "I definitely think that Ismail Haniyeh is a terrorist and I have no say on the timetable."

Tibi quickly replied, "To you any Palestinian is a terrorist. Levin is worse than Ben-Ari and Ben-Ari is a Kahane sympathizer."
Tibi also addressed the issue of discrimination between Jews and Arabs. "There are 42 laws in the State of Israel that discriminate between Jews and Arabs.
"Equality is not national or military service. Look at the Druze who serve in the army. They only count at the cemeteries, which is awful. "
Levin said in response that an Israeli citizen "should wake up every morning and ask himself what can I do to strengthen my country."
Addressing the current state at the Palestinian Authority, Tibi remarked that the rift between the Palestinian factions "is shameful" adding that the "occupation is shameful."
This left Levin enraged. "Do you represent them or are you acting on our values? It's about time you decided and if not, then we will."
Asked whether Tibi should be expelled from the Knesset over his policies, Levin replied "Yes, expel anyone who uses his office to help the enemy."
The Arab MK then accused Levin of maintaining a fanatical world view adding that "racism has become mainstream in Israel."
He further remarked, "The United Arab List is against crimes against humanity."
