Abbas: Last chance for 2-state solution

Palestinan President Abbas, who was greeted with thunderous applause at the UN General Assembly, said that Palestine has come to the UN because it believes in peace.

He said Palestine has come to the international community in light of the fact that they believe this is the last chance for the two-state solution. He further said that Israeli aggression against his people in Gaza proves the urgency of bringing the occupation to an end and liberating the Palestinian people. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
