Egypt's Morsi calls Dec. 15 referendum on constitution
Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi announced Saturday that a referendum regarding the new constitution will be held on December 15.

In his speech in Cairo, Morsi addressed the constitution that was approved Friday by the constitutional committee, saying: "The president's power has been scaled down for the first time in Egyptian history – the president can dissolve the parliament only if approved by a referendum, and if his proposal is denied he resigns."
