Clashes in WB: Officer lightly wounded, Palestinian hurt by IDF gunfire

Palestinians clashed with IDF forces near the village of Beit Ummar in the West Bank on Saturday. An IDF officer suffered a light head injury from a stone thrown at him during the riot.

A Palestinian was hurt in his leg by IDF gunfire. The army said that troops stationed in the area fired at the man's legs he and other protesters tried to block medical crews from evacuating the injured officer. (Itamar Fleishman)
