An Israeli F-16 fighter jet had a near-accident Tuesday while attempting landing at the Ramat David Airbase.
According to available details, the jet – back from a routine training flight - was traveling on the runway when for some reason it veered to the sidelines and off the runway.

No injuries or damage were reported. The IAF has launched an inquiry into the incident, which military sources said was the likely result of a technical malfunction and not pilot error.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed the details, adding that the jet is currently undergoing a maintenance review by the IAF.
