Egypt's opposition threatens to call for early elections

The media in Egypt has reported that the country's main opposition coalition, the National Salvation Front, threatened Monday morning to call for early presidential elections if their demands remain unanswered.

Opposition sources who spoke with al-Arabiya said "front leaders will decide in today's meeting on their final stance regarding the dialogue (Egyptian President) Mohammed Morsi called for." They added that Morsi's speech disregarded the deteriorating situation on the ground throughout Egypt's districts. (Roi Kais)
