Israel's
foreign currency reserves rose by $2.511 billion in January to $78.417 billion, the Bank of Israel said on Thursday.
The total included $1.879 billion in special drawing rights from the International Monetary Fund.
The bank said the gain in reserves last month was the result of government transfers from abroad of $1.855 billion, a revaluation that increased the reserves by $636 million and a rise of $20 million from private sector transactions.
