A Cyprus court sentenced for four years in jail Hossam Taleb Yaacoub, a Hezbollah operative of Lebanese-Swedish descent, who was convicted on five charges of conspiring and membership in a terror organization.
Lebanese news outlets reported that Yaacoub was captured in Lebanon a week before the Borgas, Bulgaria terror attack in 2012, in which five Israelis were killed. According to the indictment, Yaacoub was one of the planners of a foiled attack against Israelis in Cyprus. (Ynet)
