Jordan, Palestinians agree to protect holy sites in Jerusalem
Jordan's King Abdullah and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas signed an agreement by which they pledge to protect Jerusalem, the Maan news agency reported.
According to Palestinian Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud al-Habash the agreement was devised in order to coordinate the protection of the al-Aqsa Mosque and all the Muslim and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem. (Roi Kais)
