The Yiftach District Police arrested a 23-year-old Sudanese migrant
for allegedly raping a Filipino woman two weeks ago in the vicinity of Tel Aviv's central bus station.
The police inquiry revealed that several months ago the suspect was involved in additional sex crimes.

On March 23, the Filipino woman walked on Wolfson Street in south Tel Aviv when the Sudanese man, who allegedly followed her, dragged her in the direction of a parking lot, beat her, broke her teeth and raped her.
The Yiftach District Police officers who arrived at the scene gathered DNA samples, quickly checked to whom they belong and discovered that the DNA matches that of the suspect.
Intelligence led police to Tel Aviv's central bus station on Saturday, where the officers located the young man. The suspect has denied any involvement.
Meanwhile, a 41-year-old Eritrean citizen was arrested for allegedly committing a lewd act against a Netanya resident. The police investigation uncovered that the suspect works at a construction site in close proximity to the victim's residence.
Upon the officers' arrival, the suspect tried to flee the scene, but he was located shortly thereafter. During his interrogation, the suspect admitted to being present in the woman's home, but denied committing the crime.
