Police issued a warning to residents of West Bank settlement of Mitzpe Yericho, advising them to stay indoors.
Mitzpe Yericho spokesman, Moshe Eyal, said, "Large numbers of troops are searching the area. As far as we're concerned, this incident is the result of misconduct regarding an infiltration to a yeshiva within the settlement last month. We expect the Israeli government to instruct security forces to deal with these incidents."
