A group of 15 teen scientists from Israel, aged 16-18, are to present Israeli technological advancements in a "street lab" at the heart of the Big Apple, Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
Among the inventions to be showcased are a handicapped parking protection system, seizure alerting cell phone application, allergenic component identifier, DUI prevention system and a system summarizing academic articles for students with ADD or ADHD.

The initiative is part of a special project organized by ORT Schools and Colleges for Sciences and Advanced Technology, Israel's Foreign Ministry and the Israeli Consulate in New York.
The developments will be presented in a "street lab" in a special tent in Union Square. The students will provide explanations for passers-by.
