Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday the Syrian regime is trying to lead Turkey toward a "worst case scenario" with attacks such as the one in the Turkish town of Reyhanli on Saturday, claiming the lives of 46 Turkish citizens.
"They want to drag us into a nightmare scenario," Erdogan said at a meeting in Istanbul, before urging people to "be vigilant and keep calm in the face of provocations intended to draw Turkey into the Syrian quagmire." (AFP)
