After Yisrael Beiteinu announced it was against the draft reform and that unless amendments are introduced it would vote against the bill, a source with Habayit Hayehudi said that the "Bennett-Lapid alliance has brought about a balanced plan that recognizes, for the first time in the State's history, the value of Torah studies."

The source added that said alliance will help integrate haredim in the job market and that "religious Zionism has returned to serve as a bridge between all portions of society."
According to MK Shaul Mofaz, the Peri Committee outline is "good. I'm please to have been a part in raising this issue to the agenda. The plan I devised with former MK Yohanan Plesner was the basis of the entire coalition negotiation at the end of which this government was formed. I hope the outline passes Knesset legislation."
