Police deploy tear gas, stun grenades near Wadi Ara

The protesters on Highway 65 hurled rock at police, who in return deployed tear gas and stun grenades to disperse the protesters. One protester was lightly injured.

A brush fire broke out, apparently as result of the stun grenades. Protesters called out slogans, including branding Israel a "terrorist State." Balad Leader MK Jamal Zahalka arrived at the scene. (Hassan Shaalan)
