Assad regime calls Morsi to resign: Egypt doesn't recognize you

The Damascus regime called on Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi to resign due to the mass protests against him. "Egypt will overcome the crisis if Morsi understands that most of the people refuse to recognize him," Syria's propaganda minister, Omran a-Zoabi, said.

Last month Morsi ordered diplomatic ties with Assad's regime be severed. (AFP)
