All businesses and public services in the Arab sector are going on a one-day strike in protest of the Praver Bill, which aims to evict illegal Bedouin communities in the Negev.
15 protests are expected throughout the day in northern Israel, while the main rally is planned to take place in the area of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. According to the plan, which was passed in first reading in the Knesset, many Bedouins will be evicted from their lands and concentrated in existing rural territories. (Hassan Shaalan)
