IDF, Police capture 151 kg of hashish on Gaza, Egypt border
Ramat Negev Police and the IDF have stopped a drug smuggling attempt along the Philadelphi Route and captured 151 kg of hashish and 15 kg of crystal. The value of the confiscated drugs is estimated at more than NIS 10 million.
The raid was conducted after a stolen car masquerading as an IDF contracter vehicle was reported as being loaded with large bags. When the forces arrived the driver fled on an ATV. (Ilana Curiel)
