Aluminum Show headed to Israel

Successful performance combining puppetry, dancing, acrobatics to tour country during Sukkot

The Aluminum Show, which is enjoying worldwide success, will arrive in Israel for four performances during the holiday of Sukkot.

In the show, which combines, visual theater, acrobatics and humor, accompanied by an original soundtrack by Israeli singer Ivri Lider, the dancers and acrobats breathe life into aluminum-tone industrial materials and activate practical props with their bodies and using special effects.

The show, which was launched 10 years ago at the Israel Festival, was staged about three years ago in an international co-production with production companies from Israel and the United States and artists from both countries, under the artistic direction of dancer and choreographer Ilan Azriel.

"Following the show's success all over the world, we decided to return to Israel after several years and reintroduce it to the Israeli audience, this time with a group of dancers and acrobats from New York," says Azriel.

The show will be staged at the Jerusalem Theater, the Performing Arts Center in Beersheba, the Kiryat Motzkin Theater Hall and the Gesher Theater in Tel Aviv.
