Ashdod: Teen suspected of assault of city's chief Ashkenazi rabbi

A 16-year-old boy was arrested in Ashdod Wednesday night on suspicion of assaulting the city's Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi Yosef Sheinin. According to the suspicion, the teen broke into Sheinin's car and beat his face.


In his interrogation, the boy claimed that Sheinin's vehicle hit him while he was walking beside the road. He will be brought to remand hearing at the city's Magistrate's Court on Thursday. (Matan Zuri)
