Kerry: Assad can stop attack by turning over chemical weapons
US Secretary of State John Kerry said in a press conference on Syria that there was more danger in inaction than in taking action on the issue of chemical weapons use in the country. Kerry said the US knows Syria gave instructions for the preparation of a chemical attack, as well as for ending it.

Kerry also emphasized the danger if the international community does not act on the issue, and said Syrian President Bashar Assad could prevent an attack by turning over all his chemical weapons to the international community within a week. (Reuters)
