A Bnei Brak resident aged 20 was arrested Thursday on suspicion he sexually assaulted a seven-year-old boy who asked him to help him cross the street in Modiin Illit.
Shai District Police arrested the man after the boy identified his attacker upon returning to the scene with officers. The suspect confessed to the charges as well as to other cases of assault.

According to the boy, the assault took place on Tuesday. On his way back from school, he saw the suspect and asked him to help him cross the street. The suspect then convinced him to accompany him to a nearby building where he assaulted him.
The boy's parents learned of the abuse from a third person and took the case to the police. Social services interviewed the boy and returned with him to the scene where he identified his attacker.
