Two 12-year-old boys from Holon were detained on suspicion that they had stoned buses packed with passengers on a number of occasions. The boys allegedly shattered the windshields of three buses and vandalized four bus stops.
The boys are also suspected of throwing rocks at an elderly woman and threatening her. One of the boys said they had committed the acts "out of boredom."

The investigation into the stone-throwing incidents was launched after the Egged bus company filed numerous complaints regarding buses that were attacked in Holon's Jesse Cohen neighborhood.
Police are looking for other boys who were allegedly involved in the incidents.
According to the investigation, the boys threw stones at a woman who works at a day care center after she told them keep it down.
In another incident, one of the boys threw a rock at a private vehicle. When the driver stepped out of the car and approached the boy, he threatened to throw a brick at her.
