Haniyeh's granddaughter in critical condition, hospitalized in Israel
Amal Haniyeh, granddaughter of Gaza's Hamas prime minister, suffers from severe gastrointestinal illness, was hospitalized in Israel. After doctors claimed survival chances are slim, she was returned to Gaza Strip in state of clinical death
Amal Haniya, aged one, suffers from a serious infection of the digestive tract which has affected her nervous system, according to Gaza medical sources.

"Amal has crossed the Green Line now, and I call on God to grant her health," Abdessalam Haniya, the prime minister's son, wrote Sunday on his Facebook page.
"I call on God to grant good health to my daughter Amal, who entered into a state of clinical death," he added the next day.
Photographs on social networks show Ismail Haniyeh, whose militant Islamist movement does not recognize Israel's existence, visiting the sick child in Al-Nasser pediatric hospital before her transfer.
The IDF, contacted by AFP, said it had no knowledge of the transfer.
Several thousand Gazans are authorized each year to cross the border for medical treatment in Israel, according to the World Health Organization.
