Former Minister Yosef Shapira dies at 87

Former Minister Yosef Shapira died at the age of 87. Shapira passed away at Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer following an illness.

He served as a minister without portfolio on behalf of Mafdal, the National Religious Party and headed the Jewish Agency's aliyah department. (Yaron Kelner and Kobi Nachshoni)
